About The Paugusset ClubThe tradition continues at the Paugusset Club. Since 1948, The Paugusset Club has been opening its gates to welcome old and new friends to enjoy the summer weather while having fun. Whether you’re a tennis player, a swimmer or a lounger the club is every member’s home away from home. The setting is ideal for some relaxation and fun. The tranquility that this wooded facility has to offer is an unexpected surprise.
Located just seconds from the Merritt Parkway off of Route 34, Paugy is easy to get to from anywhere in New Haven and Fairfield County. Once at the club, guests are often surprised at the gentle calm of our wooded location. While at the club, families can enjoy the area's largest outdoor 7-lane pool with 1 meter springboard, a kiddie pool with water sprinkler, 9 tennis courts, a basketball court and hitting wall, and a large playing field. Our four patios have plenty of seating in the sun or shade. Paugy's clubhouse offers a break from the summer sun with clean amenities including restrooms and a member kitchen with communal refrigerator, freezer, and food prep space. The Paugy Snack Bar has everything from burgers and fries, fresh garden salads and wraps, to refreshing drinks and ice cream treats. Pool: Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Members only.

Join us for our Water Polo Clinics and Game Nights! Whether you're a beginner or experienced player, come improve your skills in our weekly one-hour clinics and enjoy fun, competitive game nights. Attend one or all sessions for just $25 for the entire season. Clinics run weekly from June 16 to July 14, and game nights will be held at Hamden Hall on select evenings.
